South Carolina Small Fruit Growers Association

The South Carolina Small Fruit Growers Association represents small fruit growers in South Carolina and their allied industry partners.
The mission of the SCSFGA is to unite South Carolina small fruit growers, distributors, and stakeholders
through collaboration, innovation, education, and advocacy.
Voice of the Industry
Providing a viable and united voice to represent and promote the South Carolina small fruit industry and fostering the needs of this industry in both the public and private sector.
Education
Encouraging the efficient production, packing, handling, storing, processing and marketing of small fruit grown in South Carolina. Listening to the needs of the industry then working to find solutions.
Research
Supporting research to strength the South Carolina small fruit industry through best production practices, cultivar selection, and disease and pest pressures.
Membership Types

A commercial producer of small fruit. Each Grower Member business entity has one vote, though multiple farm staff may be a member.
Grower Member
Individuals, organizations and/or firms whose activities or programs support the South Carolina small fruit industry, but are not commercial operators; i.e. processors, brokers, dealers, seed companies, chemical companies, and other allied businesses.
Associate Member
Honorary members are extension agents, researchers, horticulture related teachers (HS, Community College, University), master gardeners, etc.
